Dear Bee Lovers,
Welcome apitherapists, beekeepers, tour operators, scientists, clinicians on beehive products to 'First International Api-Medical Tourism Conference and Api-Expo 2012 that will be held at Dhaka from 22-24 June, 2012. We are waiting to meet with you to know and disseminate the research outcome and practice results from one to other.
Bangladesh is unexplored and missing destination to many nation and community. Where as, this country is full of natural and cultural resources including bee resource. Few hundreds of beekeepers have formed here a harmonious society, but not doing the true apitherapy due to lack of proper knowledge. Health education does not include this big field into their syllabus. Other alternative treatment systems also still unknown.
In this context, we do hope this conference will open the world of apitherapy to medical people, beekeepers, alternative health practitioners and tour operators. Api-Medical Tourism may raise on the basis of apiculture and apitherapy.
We expect, speakers and discussants will deliver the keynotes in the plenary sessions that will improve and refresh the knowledge. This conference would be a good platform of health specialists, researchers and ordinary practitioners. All will be benefited in the view of therapeutic uses of honey, apitoxin, royal jelly, bee wax, propolis and bee pollen.
